Antara is funded through fundraising and private donations. We have legal charity status with the Inland Revenue Department meaning donations by individuals are tax deductible up to a value of $1500 per annum.
Antara runs an annual charity auction where we approach companies for goods and services that can be auctioned off. We are very grateful for contributions people can make to the auction list.
Currently we are trying to encourage people to donate a fixed amount on a monthly basis. If 100 people were to donate $25 per month, this would cover the entire operating budget for the Youth Retreat. It would also enable us to focus 100% on providing the services so desparately needed in the community
