2009 Auction Raises $8,000 [19 Oct 09] - Antara raised $8,000 through its charity auction held on the 19th of October 2009 at Waitakere College. Many thanks to all who contributed to the day being such a great success.
It took donations of goods and services from companies, special items made for the day or donated by individuals, time spent setting up the evening before, time spent running the auction on the day, the auctioneer Michelle Maitland of George Walkers Auctions, help with food, cleaning up and of course the keen bidders.
Antara really appreciates your efforts and generosity. The auction is Antara's main fundraising event supporting both the Antara Retreat and the Antara Free Natural Health Clinic.
Second Mosaic Entry Panel completed at December Weekend Retreat [30 Dec 07] - Leigh has designed the second mosaic panel for the retreat entry and we completed it during the December weekend retreat.
Volunteer Receptionists Required [16 Nov 07] - We currently require new receptionists for the clinic. Experience is not required as training is provided. A couple of hours a week free is all you need. Call the clinic on 09 834 7987.

New Zealand Auctioneers supporting Antara's Youth Retreat [15 Jan 07] - New Zealand's licensed auctioneers have decided to use its community of auctioneers and business networks to raise funds for charity. We are very excited to say that a gala auction is being jointly organised by the auctioneers and the Antara Association aiming to raise the money needed to complete the second stage of the Antara Youth Retreat. Watch this space!!
Djembe Drums Donated [16 Jan 06] - The retreat is very pleased to welcome 7 new djembe drums all the way from Ghana. Not only has the retreat benefited but the drums were sourced from Fraser Bruce as part of a fundraising event for the local village. Thanks to the North Shore Hospital Presbyterian Trust for the support. Watch this space for drumming action!
Music & Rhythm Day held [08 May 04] - What an awesome day. The morning was an introduction to drumming with over 20 drums of all shapes and sizes and some really good rhythms. Andrea and Ramon, singer song writers from Auckland, made the afternoon by performing. Everybody then broke into two groups and wrote a couple of songs that were then performed. The day ended with some beautiful piano and flute. Thanks to all involved!!!
