How did Antara begin?
The origin of Antara dates back to 1974 and the death experience of John Muntz. John died of a heart attack but was revived and was able to recall his experience and understanding surrounding the time he was clinically dead. He wrote about this in his book “Life: A New Dimension of Death”.
Some years later he discovered that under hypnosis he was able to revisit the “place” he went to during his death experience. A kind of communication developed whereby, under hypnosis, John was able to communicate and be communicated through.
From this communication came a philosophy of living that is the basis by which a small group of lifetime members created and now run the Antara Association. The Association was incorporated in 1988.
John passed on his method of “communication” which continues through Brett Parker. John wrote a two further books “Reincarnation, Atlantis and the Law of One” and the “Philosophy of One” before his death in 2001.
What is the philosophy by which the Antara Association is run?
To live according to the philosophy you give of yourself in all ways to others. It is a lifetime dedication and commitment to the helping of others.
Antara’s small group of lifetime members are committed to living by this philosophy and maintain ultimate responsibility for the projects.
How does the philosophy relate to the projects?
Antara’s projects are examples of the philosophy and concept of “people helping people” in action. They are the result of many people that have contributed to them over time in a variety of ways.
Antara respects all beliefs and have people of many different philosophies, backgrounds, race and religions involved and the projects demonstrate the universal attitude of love and helping others.
So why are the projects free?
Antara is founded on the philosophy of helping others without expecting anything in return.
This is possible because of the love and generosity of many. It’s hard to believe but there is no catch. We’re just people that have decided to try and do something about some of the problems in the world.
Our rules require that all services are offered free of charge and all who work with Antara give their time voluntarily.
